January is almost over so my time is almost up here as well! I think I'm going crazy, but I can't find my Love Shack post that I know was here, so I'm going to repost those pictures. Hope you don't mind. But first, a new one (and an old one I forgot to post!) The first LO uses a bunch of different goodies from SMJ. I'll just link up the pictures to my gallery and you can see all the credits there!!!

Thanks for letting me be a guest on your amazing team this month Jenna!!!

O H M Y G O O D N E S S It just dawned on me today, that I only have two more days left as a member of Shabby Miss Jenn's Guest CT. Boooo Hoooo!! I just don't know what I'll do without all her goodies just appearing magically in my inbox. Oh dreaded day!!So, enough drama. Here are a couple layouts I did with her fabulous Love Shack kit.

And then I made this with her cute little quick page from Love Shack . . .

And then I actually made a Mint Tin Album using the Love Shack Mint Tin album. I don't have pictures of the actual album I made, cause my mom stole it from me before I could photograph it! But here are the pages . . . I think my mom really LIKED it. LOL

Aren't they just the cutest???? I loved it. I can't wait to make another one.

Well, I guess I'm signing off. Don't know if I'll get to do anything else to post here before the dreaded moment . . .

Jenna, seriously, call me. We'll do lunch.

Sadly for me, the end of January marks the end of my guest CT status with the fab. Shabby Miss Jenn! It has been awesome and I am completely honored. While I can't participate in the very cool challenge that Sarah came up with, I still wanted to create a layout!
The artwork is by my daughter, it is supposed to be me... I look pretty good in watercolor, I think! LOL! All of the papers and elements are from the gorgeous Winter Ponies kit! Thanks for taking a peek!

Guess what? Tomorrow is my birthday! And to celebrate, we are going to have a little challenge this week on the SMJ blog!

Here's the scoop ...

I am a list maker. I love to make lists. Short lists. Longs lists. Lists about books I want to read. Lists about what I need to do each day. Grocery lists. I really love lists!

So for the challenge, I want you to make create a layout that has a numbered list of some sort. You need to have at least five things on your list. (Your list can be about anything you like!) Use at least two items from SMJD! Post a link to your layout here in the comments.

Here is a page I cooked up to get your creativity flowing (click on layout to see it larger):

You have until Sunday, February 3rd, to post a layout link here and at random we will pick one person to win a $25 gift certificate and three people will be chosen to pick a kit of their choice from this section at SMJ Designs Shoppe!

So excited to see all of your layouts!

SMJ-just had to add this sweet GC to SEEEE! :) Yippeee!!!!!!

Happy Thursday, everyone! Just popping in to say hello and show off my layouts created with the fabulous new Love Shack kit and the folded paper and brackets... some serious shabby goodness!!! I love the new brackets- they rock! In my "Strawberry Margarita" layout, I wanted to use the bracket as more of a frame so I simply used my magic wand tool to delete some of the middle and then used a big soft eraser brush until I liked the effect! :o)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get lots of scrapping time this weekend!

I'm biased..but seriously this template is one of my favorites! I could see doing an album with this page 10-12 times! Anyways, you can view the credits here. ;)

Introducing Alex and Eli

Our son David and his lovely wife Claire have had their twin boys. Alex and Eli are identical and will prove difficult to distinguish who is who for quite some time! I used SMJ's delightful little kit named PLAYFUL to create their introductory layout. You will definately be seeing more of them in the future! ~Katy Larson
Click on image for larger version and credits. Thank you!!

Friday, January 11, 2008

Hi girlies! I just wanted to drop by and post a couple of pages I've done with Miss Jenn's fabulous Winter Ponies kit and album! First off, I did two pages of my own, using the kit. Here they are . . .

And then I've done two pages from the quick page album, that fabulous! I think I will try one of those paper bag albums and just pix of my daughter in her cowgirl getup. She thinks she's a real cowgirl, so this kit is perfect for so many photos I have of her!
(p.s. I used alpha from SMJ's Old Letters kit on this one!)
This is the most wonderful kit to play with. If you don't have it yet, you GOTTA GET IT!! There is so much fun stuff here!
Thanks for looking, see ya soon!
