Grandparents

Another layout with the Uncle Patrick's Banquet and Birds of Paradise Kits - I love how versatile they are...I created this layout for my mom's birthday today - I love that my mom still likes homemade gifts!
Here's a layout I did with SMJ's Cherrywood Farm Kit. I love the richness of this kit - the colours, the elements which are so detailed and the texture of the papers in this kit!

and here's another one I did with Uncle Patrick's Banquet..
Jenn did an EXCELLENT job with the kits!

Autumn is my favorite season and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday - I love the colors, a holiday filled with family and friends dedicated to Thanksgiving for our many blessings - it just makes me happy! So when Shabby Miss Jenn released her new Uncle Patrick's Banquet kit, I was ecstatic and know I will be going back to it again and again!

I finally got a chance to play with the kit last weekend and I created this fun place card -

Thanksgivingnamecardfull

To create it just setup a new document three inches wide by four inches tall - and divide it in half - when it is folded - this is how you will see it on the table -

Thanksgivingnamecard

the front - and now the back -

Thanksgivingnamecardback

I though it would be fun to put different scriptures on the backs of the cards about giving thanks - they could be shared as we ate our meal...food for thought if you will...

This kit is going to be perfect for documenting Thanksgiving - I can't wait to use it for more of my Thanksgiving layouts...

I created this layout using SMJ's lovely kit named "Uncle Patrick's Banquet". Love the warm fall colors in this one. Great elements and such a variety of fasteners, which I cant scrap without! Click Image for Credits.

Happy Wednesday morning to everyone! I forgot to share this layout when I did it, so I wanted to pop it on here really quick. I used the Harvest Night kit (although nothing about this layout looks "harvest-y"... just one of the things I love about the kit... it's really versatile!) Anyway, I am off to straighten up my house... just had guests here for over a week, so it's a wreck! LOL! Have a terrific week everyone!

Just HAD to do a fun page with my boys and their crazy hair! Another page using SMJ's new Harvest Night kit. The template is by SMJ and is part of THIS fab template package.

Credits can be seen HERE.

Thanks for looking!

Thought I'd do a fun, non-photograph layout this time. Jess Gordon had an adorable pumpkin template up the other day ... and I have been itching to do something with it!

Journaling reads: "God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off you may have gotten from the other pumpkins. Then he cuts the top off and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."

Hi everyone! I'm Lynn (chslynn) and I'm completely excited to be a guest Shabby Girl for October! I'm loving the new Harvest Night kit... it is truly massive! There are so many fun elements and papers. And although I WISH I was a chronological scrapper like MandaKay (I STRIVE to be like you, girl!) I'm not, so I had pictures from last year to use with the kit. Here's a layout I did of my three little girlies at the pumpkin patch. I'd like to add that I'm "orange-challenged" but I love how this turned out. You can find full credits here. Thanks for looking!

I am a chronological scrapper - meaning I have last years halloween/fall pictures scrapped and in books already, so I always get a bit intimidated when theme kits come out before a holiday. This kit is AMAZING. Even though it is a "theme" kit (meaning harvest/fall/halloween) I had NO problem using it for just a normal LO. The colors are amazing. The papers are GREAT. The elements are phenomenal. Jenn did a good mix of normal elements, but yet for those that wanted to use the kit for a fall type LO, there were enough elements for that too! This is one MEGA kit! This may be one of my favorite LO's of mine in quite some time! Full Credits HERE.

here is jana. i`m a shabbyguestgirl for this month and it makes
me sooooo happy and proud! i`m really glad to work with SMJ`s
fabulous colourful, partly so abstract and full-of-ideas-stuff!
makes so much fun. TY jenn & the great team for being a guest
in your creativ team!

the amazing "harvest night" is perfekt for my halloween and
autumnlayouts. i love it.

New Layout & Video Tutorial...

This weekend I had a lot of fun making this layout -

Emily_carousel

I chose the papers because they matched the colors my dd was wearing - how fun is that? I used Shabby Miss Jenn's Brand new Harvest Night kit along with her French Attic Kit. The flourish frame around the journaling comes from the Gracie's Garden Kit.

I decided to do a tutorial on recoloring the overlay and frame - so here it is...

I created this little card for a sweet friend who just had her first baby, a beautiful little girl named Mary Grace. Click Image for Credits.
HUBBA HUBBBA.......
So I finally convinced my hubby to take off the hat, dress up a little and pose for a few pictures!! The first thing I thought when I saw this one was "hubba hubba." And with Shabby Miss Jenn's amazing new kit, I had to do a layout titled exactly that!!! Lovin' the colors in this kit a TON!!!
